Saturdays are always so exciting to me! Not just because it is the weekend and I get my husband back for a couple days, but also because that is when I officially reach a new week mark. Today I am 22 weeks pregnant. In my post yesterday I mentioned how I had been in denial about needing new clothes. Something about writing that publicly gave me the push I needed to head to the mall yesterday. I actually had a lot of fun searching around Macy’s maternity section for some new clothes and realizing that I could be cute AND comfortable with this basketball belly. The top above is one I picked up yesterday from the Motherhood Maternity section, it was the last one on the shelf and I can see why. It is so comfy and flowy and I think it is flattering on the bump.

Contest Time

Just a little bit further down I will do a 22 weeks pregnant update, but first I wanted to let you guys know about the contest I mentioned in the title of this post. In honor of the release of the movie Absolutely Fabulous Macy’s is hosting a contest to give one lucky person tickets to the red carpet movie premier in NYC. 22 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along? 22 weeks
How big is baby? 11 inches!! Almost a pound.
Total weight gain/loss? 6lbs!! Finally in the plus.
Maternity clothes? Yes! I still haven’t found maternity jeans that fit me, they are all super baggy…. But I am loving these flowy tops and using the looped elastic method on all my jean buttons 🙈
Sleep? Really good lately, although I get woken up a few times a night by giant baby kicks.
Symptoms? Still really nauseas, but only throw up once or twice a week.
Food cravings? I want to eat EVERYTHING.
Food aversions? Except for fish, curry and red meat.
Gender? Boy
What I miss? Having energy. Not being nauseas.
What I’m looking forward to? Winning this contest 😜😜
Bump? Is that even a question anymore?
