32 Weeks Pregnant

It has been on my list to do a good maternity photo shoot while we are in Hawaii. I am 32 weeks pregnant today, so I am getting close to the end of this all. It was really important for me to get some good photos before I’m even bigger than I already am. I always feel worried that we are going to take all these photos and then I am going to end up hating them. Especially since I am really picky about the pictures I share. It is not often that we get to vacation in Hawaii and it is once in a life time that I get to be here while I am pregnant with this little boy. To make sure these ones turned out ok I chose a couple locations and some activities we could do along the way to get as many pictures as possible.

Kris and Zoey were such troopers as I kept this photo session going for a good two hours or so. In the end we all had so much fun exploring the Sharks Cove food truck market, having dinner together, walking along the beautiful coastline at Turtle Bay and swimming in the pool that it turned out I really didn’t need to stress. Enjoying food in the open cafe right by the sea was really the highlight of the day. I was disappointed with my sandwich (so small for the price!!!), but Kris’s surf & turf tacos were SOOOOO good!

I think the photos really capture what a fun time we had as a family and even though I planned it just to get maternity photos, it really didn’t feel like a ‘photo session’. It felt like a fun family day, I think that is the best way to get great pictures, by actually having fun and enjoying the process. Apologies in advance for the overload of pictures. I will share my outfit details at the top here for those of you who don’t have time to scroll all the way through! I am putting a little ‘pregnancy at 32 weeks update’ at the very end for those who are curious.

I picked out my dress before we came to Hawaii, but I totally forgot to plan one for Zoey. Kris actually got this dress for Zoey and it just happened to coordinate perfectly, from the colors to the cutout back. Kris NEVER shops for the kids (yes I shop for baby boy now too…), so I was really impressed by this choice.

She loves to ‘kiss attack’ baby brother, which is seriously the sweetest thing. My absolute favorite is when I am sitting down and she walks up to me and wraps her arms around my belly and lays her head down. I will put my arms around her and say something like, “aww thanks Zoey, I love you.”, to which she responds, “no mommy, I’m hugging baby brother!”. Then she will push my arms off of her. It is so funny and sweet at the same time, I love seeing that she is already working to develop a bond with him and doesn’t want anyone to interrupt their little moment together.

Dancing around as usual. She loves to jump and spin and wiggle and roll and sway her hips, basically anything that involves movement. I am really excited to see if she will actually pursue dancing as she gets older, or if it is just a phase that has been lasting since she could pull herself up on the furniture.

She loves her daddy SO much. It is the sweetest thing.

32 Weeks Pregnant

How far along? 32 weeks (obviously👆🏼)
How big is baby? Pineapple sized apparently…🍍 HUGE🍍
Total weight gain/loss? 15lbs!!! At 22 weeks I had gained 6, so in the last 10 weeks I gained more than I did in the first 22… I gained 30lbs with Zoey so I have eight weeks to double that number.
Sleep? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Symptoms? Main thing is the non-stop kicking. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he came out with 8 extra limbs. The nausea is down to 2-3 hours a day! I rarely throw up so long as I remember to take my Zofran… I love Zofran.
Food cravings? I dunno… not really. Unless you count my desire for large amounts of shave ice, which is something I feel pregnant or not. 🍧🍧🍧
Gender? Boy
What I miss? Being able to sleep without being jabbed in the ribs CONSTANTLY.
What I’m looking forward to? Meeting this little boy…
