You know that one thing you’ve always hoped for? That secret dream or goal you have in the back of your mind, but never have time for?

Today I am going to share 5 steps you can take now to make your dream a priority. Two years ago music was that dream for me. I followed these five steps, and in the first year I had over 50,000 followers on my Instagram page for my music. I started to realize that when you put a plan in place, anything is possible. These 5 steps will help you achieve that goal you never thought was possible. The first 4 steps are goal related, the fifth will benefit your overall health and happiness and boost your motivation to achieve that goal. My bonus tip at the end includes the use of Centrum® MultiGummies®.

5 Steps To Making Your Dreams Happen Fast

(no matter how busy you are)

1. Make A Plan

As the saying goes, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” If you are actually serious about making time to pursue your dreams and goals sit down and make a detailed plan. Figure out how you are going to get from point A to point B. Don’t make this plan based on how much time you think you have available. Write down what it would legitimately take to achieve your goal.

2. Break It Into Bite Sized Pieces

Next, figure out how much extra time you do have in a day. Whether it be 5 minutes or 2 hours, find a time. If you think you don’t have time analyze your life for things you can easily eliminate, do you watch too much TV? Could you wake up half hour earlier or go to bed half hour later? Do you spend extra time in front of the mirror, cleaning or sitting for a meal?

Based on the amount of time you are able to free up, break your plan into bite size pieces. If you have an hour, figure out how much you can do in that time. If you only have ten minutes, do the same.

3. Designate A Space For Your Hobby

Find a space that allows you to focus. For me that is my desk or my piano. Nearby both of these places I have things that can entertain Zoey and I have a seat for Zander. This way my space is open to them as well. Since I am a stay at home mom full time it is vital that I am able to get things done while watching them and having a designated space really helps me (and them) separate family time from dream/hobby time.

4. Do It Every Day

This is the hard part! Now that you have an overall plan, daily portioned tasks and a designated space, DO IT EVERY SINGLE DAY!! It doesn’t matter if you take five steps towards your goal, or run a whole mile. Progress is progress. Doing it daily makes it a habit. Little by little you will see success, which will motivate you to work harder towards that dream.

5. Take Care Of Yourself

As millennials, we are constantly on the go and determined to make every moment count. Working hard to fill our time with things that matter, make us happy and ultimately bring us to a better life, is our top priority. Often we forget to take time for our personal health. If you are not healthy, you won’t be nearly as productive. Even if you are productive, constant exhaustion from being endlessly on the go will diminish your level of happiness in life. You deserve better than that! You work hard enough to stop, take a break and be totally in the moment now and then. Without worrying about your to do list at all.

I do a few simple things to make sure I get this ‘mental health’ time. First I read a little bit in my scriptures every day, it is peaceful and motivational. Second I take half hour each morning and night to pray or meditate and plan my day. Third I watch at least one half hour TV show around dinner time so I can unwind. Fourth, I take daily vitamins. Taking Centrum® MultiGummies® makes me feel good about my health. They don’t take any extra time out of my busy day! Centrum® MultiGummies® contain three natural flavors: Berry, Cherry, and Orange. So yummy! Centrum® MultiGummies® makes it easy for me to support my health while enjoying my busy lifestyle.*

  1. Loved the post, Rach, especially the part about doing something – anything – each day to progress you towards your goal. Those tiny efforts add up, sometimes almost miraculously.

  2. I love this post babe! As I do blogging on the side, on top of a full time job, it can be difficult to remember to take care of myself! Lately I’ve been listening to my body and not expecting too much of myself, knowing I’m doing this on top of my other job. It’s always a good reminder to take care of yourself. Hope your week is going well!

    xoxo Rina
