Meaning of Life

When you look back at your life, is there one singer that stands out? Someone that you feel has provided a soundtrack to your life? For me that singer is Kelly Clarkson. I will never forget all the times I danced with my girl friends to Since You Been Gone. There is something really special about the tracks Breakaway and A Moment Like This. Both these songs provided background music for early morning drives with Kris, when we first started falling in love. I was just 16! The song Because of You is still one I often listen to when I just need a sad song for a good cry. It uplifts and feeds my soul!!

I have SO many memories tied to Kelly Clarkson songs. When I heard she had a new album I had to be one of the first to listen. I was especially excited after watching an interview she did on TV where she announced that for her new album, Meaning of Life, she would be returning to her roots and singing more soulful music. I love strong vocals and soulful melodies, so I was totally blown away by Move You. If you are heading over to listen to her album now, listen to that song first.

Love So Soft is another good one to listen to first if you want something upbeat and catchy. I am a sucker for a good music video and the video for that one is so beautifully done. The costumes, dancing and scenery is all breathtaking, and of course, Kelly Clarkson’s vocals take the music to another level.

We have been traveling a lot lately. So I’ve been playing all the new songs from Meaning of Life on repeat while we are in the car. Zoey is getting to know the songs and loves them too! I love that the same singer I listened to when I was a teenager is still adding so much beauty to my life. Kelly Clarkson has stayed relevant, and has now come back with elevated vocals that will take your breath away!
