2017 Family Photos

Am I the only one who tears up as they scroll through family pictures and realize just how blessed they are??

Before we went to Canada to visit our family, the most recent family pictures we had were captured when Zander was only 6 days old. It was time for something new. I asked my sister in law to take pictures for us. I wanted photos that really wrapped up our year and commemorated the beauty we found, the memories we made and the relationships we built. I didn’t tell my sister in law all that before she took the pictures, but somehow she managed to (as usual) exceed all my expectations with her pictures.

These family photos are the perfect way to sum up our year. I love how rather than taking typical posed family photos, Kari was really able to capture the emotion and love in our family bonds.
