Since my sister is coming to visit we decided we needed to get a new bed for her! She is going to be staying with Zoey in her room since we only have two bedrooms in our house. Zoey is SO excited to have a buddy. We FaceTime with Amalie all the time and Z loves it. We FaceTime lots of family members actually since we don’t live near any of them, but Amalie is Zoey’s favorite person to talk to (sorry Grandma Burgess and Grandma Leavitt… ;). She calls her ‘Ammy’ and gets so excited whenever I remind her that she is coming to visit.
Anyways we got a mattress in a box during Black Friday and haven’t had a chance to set it up till this weekend. Zoey absolutely LOVES helping me, which just melts my heart to see. She has such a kind little heart. So she wanted to be involved every step of the way with setting up the mattress. We actually got a mattress in a box last year for our bed and it was SO cool to watch it expand after we pulled it out of the plastic, so this time I made a little vlog video of us setting it up. Well the bedroom is all ready, now we just need our favorite auntie/sister to come live in it! Amalie’s arrival is the ONLY reason I am excited for Christmas (my favorite holiday) to be over. I can’t believe it is almost Christmas… The first of our family arrived last night after being stuck in Denver because of a snowstorm for TEN HOURS. They didn’t get in till 2am… 12 hours after they were originally supposed to. I am just happy they are here though!
