I promise these are the last of the pictures from our Florida trip! We spent the last day of vacation walking around Celebration, just like our last time visiting Florida. We love Celebration. Such a cute friendly little town. Right when we got there Zoey wanted to play at the splash pad, and Zander was tired. So I stayed and played with her while Kris walked around with the stroller so Zander could fall asleep.
Zoey LOVES the splash pad in Celebration, it is really nothing special, just water spraying out of the ground really. But she asks if we can fly to Florida, just so we can go there. This time she kept flipping her head upside down and putting her hair in the water, she thought she was hilarious. Kris came back with a sleeping baby and theeee most delicious gelato! It was blood orange something and so good.
After we finished at the splash pad we walked all the way around the little lake. It has a beautiful paved path all the way around. On the side of the lake opposite the town there is a little bridge through the palm trees that leads to a path around another lake! It seems like such a cute, family friendly place to live. Like I said in my last post about Celebration, it is designed by Disney, and you can really tell.
The only reason I didn’t like it was because we saw crocodiles in the water last time we visited. I can’t see what prevents them from coming out of the water and snapping up a toddler for lunch. They were really small crocodiles though. And there were a lot of people here, so we kept Zoey by our side and assumed we were safe.
I don’t know how I managed to somehow still be posting pictures of a weekend vacation two months later… but I hope it isn’t long before we can go again. There is so much to do around Orlando and I just LOVE bringing the family there.
