Day At Turtle Bay Resort

I am going through all my Hawaii pictures and realized I hadn’t shared these ones yet! This is from a beautiful evening we spent at Turtle Bay Resort. One of our favorite places to hang out on the North Shore. In the pictures I am 32 weeks pregnant! You don’t have to be staying at Turtle Bay Resort to enjoy everything it has to offer. If you drive into the resort they have beach parking. Behind the beach is a cement walkway that goes along the shore line for quite a ways. Somewhere in the middle of the trail you will walk past the Turtle Bay Resort pool. This is the perfect place to stop and watch the surfers.

We loved to sit on the coast in front of the pool and place bets on who would be the first surfer to catch a wave while we were watching. Surprisingly Zoey seemed to enjoy watching the surfers as much as we did. Although she may have been more interested in the waves crashing against the coral.

Zoey’s favorite part of Turtle Bay Resort was definitely the stray cats that were everywhere along the trail. I guess they were used to being fed by people at the outdoor restaurant by the pool because if you called, “Here kitty, kitty!” they would run right up to you. Zoey was always trying to feed them leaves and then chasing after them when they didn’t accept her offer and went running to hide in the bushes. She would then try and call them by saying “Come HERE titty, titty, titty!” 😳🙈😂

This was one of my favorite spots to visit during our vacation in Hawaii… I love doing exciting activities and visiting cool tourist attractions, but my absolute favorite thing is just sitting with Kris and talking. Especially in such a beautiful setting! We both loved this spot and could sit here for hours just enjoying family time and watching the waves!
