We had such a fun day sledding! The snowstorm from last weekend left our entire town buried in snow and so we had to get out and do some sledding right away. Like I mentioned in this post, Zoey refused to go to bed the other night, until we promised to take her sledding the next day. So this was us fulfilling that promise.

Zoey likes to be super active. She also hates being strapped into her carseat, sitting in the cart while we shop and she is not a huge fan of cuddling. Even when I was pregnant with her she was wiggling constantly inside of me. The point of telling you that was to say that sledding was super exciting, but the car ride there was not. I just got the new updated Walmart Family Mobile plan which offers 10GB of 4g LTE data (double what it was before!!) and unlimited talk, text and data. So I have started to let Zoey watch Kids YouTube every time the road trip is just a little too long for her. I have the LG Leon LTE phone, it is super easy for her to use and navigate! It makes it better for her AND more relaxing for us. Plus Kids YouTube is pretty awesome, she has learned all her colors in just the past week or so from watching it. I used to run out of data all the time and I am SO happy that now I won’t! Zoey is pretty happy too 😉

It is hard to tell in these pictures, but the hill was ginormous. It wasn’t steep at all though so it took what felt like at least a minute to sled to the bottom. Zoey went down twice, once on my lap and once with Kris, and then she told us she was ‘All done!’. I was quite shocked after her reaction to sledding the other day, I thought she was going to want to go again and again. She was much more interested in making snowballs and throwing them at our friends though.

I had the brilliant idea (or the stupid idea… not sure which) to bring Zoey’s tunnel with us to the hill and use it to roll down through the snow. We definitely looked like idiots… But we had a really fun time doing it. We went with a bunch of friends, but Kris and I were the only ones to try the tunnel. LOL. It did make you super dizzy, but in a roller coaster ride sort of way. I secretly loved it even more than the sledding. Other than tunnel rolling, we also did sled racing to see who could get the farthest going down the hill, I actually caught air going over a couple bumps! But I didn’t win for furthest sled, just highest height.

Even though Zoey wasn’t sledding too much she was devastated to leave the hill because that meant snow time was over. Luckily Walmart Family Mobile came to the rescue again, the new plan gives each line one free movie on Vudu a month. So we reminded her we were going to watch our free movie on the TV once we got home, worked like a charm – basically my new phone plan is a major parenting help to me. And BONUS all that only costs $49.88 (All prices for phones and plans included in this post are accurate as of the date of posting; however, these prices are subject to change. Please refer to http://cbi.as/28aqc or your local Walmart for current pricing.).

Well unfortunately the sun has come out and the snow is already melting away so it looks like that will be our last sledding day for at least a little while. It was sure fun while it lasted though!
