GENDER REVEAL
I was shocked when we found out. Although I didn’t admit it to anyone, I really thought that we were going to be having another girl. Baby Burgess number two is DEFINITELY a BOY though. The ultrasound pictures were very clear hahaha. Once we found out it just felt so right. I started crying when they told us, Kris thought I was crying out of disappointment 😂 it was pure joy though. It took me awhile to post it because I couldn’t figure out a good way to do the gender reveal. I have seen so many fancy gender reveals and I just didn’t have energy for something fancy, and I didn’t want to copy a friend or something. In the end I went to Walmart and grabbed the first blue baby thing I could find.
So there you have it. We are having a BOY! I am so excited, we will have a perfect little family and if I decide I can never go through pregnancy again we will have one of each… One down side is we will be shopping for a whole new baby wardrobe. I have so many buckets of cute girl clothes. Well that is a down side for our bank account, but the truth is I LOVE shopping so I really don’t mind at all haha.

Awe. This made me cry too!!! I love how you revealed it. Sweetest post ever. I remember the shock I felt when my first son who was supposed to be a girl was a beautiful baby boy. I was speechless as they laid him in my arms but it was such a peaceful strong instant bond I felt with him. You will love him as much as you love Zoey.
