Ok I know January is basically gone – but I don’t think it is ever too late to start making goals and plans – right?! Along with my list of new years goals I had to share our family photos! My sister in law, Kari (Eternal Reflections), took them for us. As usual she did an incredible job capturing our family. If you are just here to see the family photos, keep scrolling a bit! Anyway, last year I put together a vision for 2018 on my birthday. It was a list of things I wanted in my 26th year. Then I completely forgot about it. Looking back at it this New Year, I realized that almost all my plans had come to be. I think there is something powerful about making a physical statement of what you want to see in your future.
So here it goes. 27 things I hope to see happen in my 27th year of life, 2019.
Personal Growth Goals
1. Prioritize exercising, and change my attitude about it. Work at not hating exercising…
2. Let go of guilt, fear, self doubt, and any other negative emotion that keeps me from my full potential for happiness.
3. Laugh more, smile more.
4. Step outside of frustrating situations mentally, see them as passing moments, rather than allowing myself to feel overwhelmed.
5. And carried over from last year – continue to work at loving every moment, the good and the bad. See each day as a gift. Accept pain and joy as they come.
Family Goals
6. Listen more, connect more, put down the phone more.
7. Let go of ‘mom guilt’.
8. Make it through the new Come Follow Me curriculum with my family through daily scripture study.
9. Look for teaching moments.
10. Get in a better homeschooling routine with Zoey.
Home Improvement Goals
11. Organize every room, make every space in our home functional and beautiful.
12. Finish the basement.
13. Fence in the backyard.
14. Landscape the backyard to make it more of a functional space for summer.
Business Goals
15. Streamline my brand outreach approach to save time and get higher results.
16. Work less time, make more money.
17. Grow to 150K followers on Instagram.
18. Create more SEO friendly blog content, based on my most successful past posts.
19. Aim for one sponsored vacation per quarter.
FUN Goals
20. Carried over from last year – go on my first cruise vacation!!
21. Visit Encore Resort again!!
22. Design a super cool playroom for the kids.
23. Visit New York, Niagara Falls, Toronto (specifically Toronto Is.), and the Poconos, in the summer.
24. Host more fun blog giveaways!
25. Design the laundry room.
26. Plant a veggie garden.
27. ENJOY 2019, take advantage of feeling physically well (not pregnant!!), aim for a positive mental state, do the things that make me more energetic throughout the day, etc.
