Is there anything better than visiting Grandma and Grandpas house? I don’t think so. My parents live on a beautiful acreage with tons of room to run around and play, which is such a contrast to our townhouse that is right on the road and doesn’t even have a backyard! Zoey could play in their yard for hours but her favorite part of it all is the strawberry garden. I don’t blame her, those things are divine.
Auntie Amalie and Grandma took Zoey out to pick strawberries multiple times a day while we were visiting and the stained shirts she came back with almost every single time were totally worth the smiles on her face. Strawberries are such a healthy food for kids so I can’t complain.
The shirt she is wearing in these pics has been one of my favorite shirts this summer and it is a great one for transitioning into fall fashion. It is a thicker weave of materiel so I think it will stand the test of time and maybe be worn by future baby Burgesses… So long as we can keep it free from strawberry juice stains.
