In the past I have shared my advice on budget travel, but I just discovered this company last night that really takes the cake when it comes to inexpensive vacationing and I HAD to share it with you guys! Dream Trips is a subscription based travel club that gets you the best travel and vacation packages for the lowest cost possible. They are kind of like the Costco or Sams Club of travel clubs, they get highly discounted rates on resorts and hotels and airfare, etc. based on the principle of bulk buying.
A friend told me about Dream Trips yesterday and I was a little leery because it just sounded too good to be true. It is. You do have to pay a very low monthly subscription fee ($25), but every single penny of that fee goes towards your next trip. So $25 in fees equals $25 off your next, already discounted trip. Kris and I are planning to sign up right away because we are really wanting to go on vacation this July, but the budget is even tighter this year than it was last year.
