Dying my hair for the first time ever!
Zoey was sick a lot this month… At one point she was throwing up everything she ate for six days straight. It got to the point where instead of just throwing up like a normal baby, she would say, “I need bowl…” and then we would pass her the bowl and she’d puke. A few times she got up without us noticing and got the bowl herself… It literally broke my heart. Those were the saddest six days ever, but she is such a trooper. She was still smiley and happy and sparkly like usual.
My sister Amalie (aka Aunty Ammy) came to live with us temporarily to give me a hand with Zoey! She is an angel and Zoey loves having her as a roommate.
I finally redecorated our living room! I have been wanting to for awhile, but I got this gorgeous lamp that really inspired me the other day and it was the final push I needed. The above our little clips of inspiration I got while I was planning it out, post with pictures to come soon!
It finally SNOWED this month. Sometimes I don’t want to wear waterproof boots, so I use the above little trick to keep my feet warm. It works like a charm. Literally, those plastic bags are like sauna’s on my legs. It goes tights, bags, tights, yoga pants, boot socks.
Zoey and Harrison loving a giant wooden (but hollow and light) rabbit.
Date night! Amalie made rice crispy treats at home with Zoey while we went out to eat and had some just us time. It was perfect.
Looking for houses in Erie! We checked out about 5 different apartments. The realtor showed us one that wasn’t on the original list of houses to show us that was a little out of our budget… That one was definitely the most tempting. High ceilings, gigantic bedrooms, updated, modern, a yard, a giant kitchen, a giant porch… I want it. Really bad.
See that HUGE clearing in the snow, top left. I cleared that. All by myself, with a snow shovel. I was trying to surprise Kris so he could drive home and park in a clear spot in the road… I had no idea how long it would take. Also bottom left, Zoey eating a gigantic bowl of fresh, clean snow with syrup on it (just a tad). She ate that entire mixing bowl full. No joke.
My favorite ring, ‘Benny’, from when I was in college. Just found him and realized how much I have missed him.
At the beginning of the month we got ten pounds of skittles for a job I was working on for Skittles. This is one of the creations we made. We are still eating Skittles and it is already Feb… See the post here.
New dress was a Christmas gift from my thoughtful hubby (he bought a gift card, I chose the dress;). Don’t mind our super ghetto house in the background… It is cute on the inside, and that is what counts, right?
Walking to the dentist which is just down the road from me so they can look at my teeth and schedule a date to get my wisdom teeth out. I am NOT looking forward to this. I have a really small mouth – or jaw I guess – I can’t open it very wide. So going to the dentist is always painful… Ugh. At least it will be over with soon.
Zoey holding newborn baby Aurora for the first time. She was SO in love and cried when she had to let go. See the post here.
Zoey does not like saying goodbye to her dada… 🙁
Giving Anna an ‘airplane ride’. This made my day, since I give Zoey airplane rides just like this.
Date with mommy to get an Oreo ice cream flurry from MacDonalds!
My growing candle collection! I love it.
She loves doing her makeup.
All ready to go out in the snow. We are sad it is already melted!
