After  a few freezing cold days I was shocked at yesterdays warm weather. We went out in sweaters only!! Looks like fall still has a little bit of life left. Winter is so confusing to me, I guess I never really grew up with snow so I haven’t quite figured out what it’s schedule is. I always assumed though that November & December were filled with big white flakes of beauty for most the world. Apparently not. We have only seen a couple flakes so far. They disappeared before they even touched the ground.

This little river excursion was kind of spur of the moment, Amey and I were planning on taking Zoey and Harrison to a cute little town nearby that gets all decked out for Christmas. On the way there Amey mentioned this park I had never been to before and we decided it would be the perfect place to stop and take a couple pictures. Zoey and Harrison loved it so much that we ended up staying there and skipping the town. When we left Zoey was sad and told me she wanted to keep throwing rocks. lol. I am pretty sure that she could sit by the water and throw rocks till the cows come home. People still say that saying right? I don’t even know what it means. She could throw rocks and watch them splash for hours. It is funny to me that she can be so needy and demanding, yet so easily entertained and happy at the simplest things as well.

It is less than a week till our family starts arriving and I really can’t wait! Especially since it will mean Kris is DONE one more semester of medical school. That will be a wonderful thing. Mostly for him but also really wonderful for me and Zoey. He still has to study for this stupid, gigantic, kill-all-your-brain-cells exam that I can’t remember the name of during the Christmas break. But I think I will have him just a little bit more and that makes me so happy!

Hope you all have some wonderfully fun holiday plans. Luv you all. XOXOX
