I’m PREGNANT + a $250 Giveaway

The last few weeks have been a little bit crazy, which is why I have been blogging a lot less. Like I told you guys I am PREGNANT, so I have been super sick. Basically haven’t been out of bed in six weeks. Now Zoey is sick too 🙁 We are doing good, but mostly just lying low and hanging out at home. Recently Zoey has been staring out the window at the neighbors dog a lot, she keeps telling me that her baby doggy is ‘coming in the mail’. It is so cute! It makes me sad too though, knowing that no baby dog is coming in the mail for her. We will get a dog eventually, but right now isn’t the right time for us! I wish it was for Zoey’s sake. So that is the update on our life right now. Now on to my real blogging topic of the day.

Being a mom I am constantly reading ingredient labels on the food I buy. I do it way more often now than I ever did before I was a mother. It is so important to me to know that my daughter is getting the nutrition she needs and not eating too much unhealthy food. That is why I love LÄRABARs so much! The ingredient list on the ones I just bought is only three ingredients long. You can not get more simple than that.

Zoey loves playing outside, running around the house and playing pretend. She is always so busy that I have to have food on hand that she can eat on the go. In the past I bought the full size LÄRABARs for our family, but I was at Sam’s Club the other day and noticed you can now buy a large bag of mini bars! They come with two flavors inside: Chocolate Cookie Dough & Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip I had to grab some for Zoey since she rarely can finish a whole LÄRABAR in one sitting, it is the perfect size for her.

I like to have a couple of them in my purse for when we are out and about and now that I am feeling sick I keep a bag stashed near the bed on my nightstand as well. Zoey eats at least one between every meal and the second she gives me a break from mothering I munch on one too. I would say they are my ‘guilty pleasure’ but there is no guilt involved here.
