Book: I See Me | Moccasins: Freshly Picked | Slide: Amazon | Lunch Box: Target | Kitchen Set: Amazon | Doc McStuffins Figurines: Amazon | Lip Balm: EOS | Camera: Canon Powershot

I had SO much fun shopping for Z’s second birthday (check out pics from the party here) and probably went a little overboard with the amount of gifts I got her. But how could I resist, she is my one and only perfect princess and I am allowed to spoil her rotten one day a year! It sounds weird to say – but I know her better now than when she turned one. I have gotten to learn more about her personality and likes and dislikes over the past year and feel like I had a better idea of how to plan this birthday than the last one.

She is really into ‘pretties’ so I got her the lip balm. EOS is all organic and the round surface makes it super easy for her to put on all by herself. I also got her some moccasins from freshly picked which fit into the pretties department. Books are another favorite of hers and have been for quite awhile – I got her one that has her name in it and is individualized from I See Me. I wrote a post all about that book here. She loves it and is starting to recognize the letters of her own name so it is great for reinforcing that.

At two years old she is now starting to play make believe all the time, her dollies have conversations with each other as she feeds them and puts them to bed and brings them on the potty! Which reminds me – not shown in the pictures I got her some Frozen underwear since she is totally diaper free for a couple months now. She loved those, I got the smallest size available but they still fall off if she is wearing a skirt! LOL…. Tiny bum.

Doc McStuffins is her world right now and the figurines I got her were definitely the winner gift. She knows all of them by name and brings them everywhere in her Doc McStuffins lunch pack. Then there was the slide. It was much more inexpensive than I thought, and it saves me the 20 minute drive to the playground, since all she does at the playground is go up and down the slide over and over. Win win with that gift. The last gift was my old digital camera that I have had since forever. It was expensive when I bought it but I am pretty sure it is worthless now. I almost got rid of this camera so many times but thought Z might like it eventually so I held on to it, turns out she loves taking pictures now so I am glad I did. Anyways if you are trying to decide what to get for a two year old those are just a few ideas, my daughter loved every single gift!
