Hello. I don’t have anything creative to say about this outfit except that you MUST buy this dress. It is perfection. So instead of giving you some creative winter outfit ideas I will tell you about my life lately.

Lately I have been going shopping daily… Between groceries, Old Navy sales that I get to my email daily, buying stuff for blog posts and running random errands I hardly ever get to just stay home the entire day. One nice thing is that it forces me to get out of my PJ’s. But sometimes I worry that I may have a shopping addiction (just kidding… kind of). For example the other day I went out specifically to buy Zoey a new winter coat. Winter coats are expensive though and when I was picking through them I thought, “I better just check if she has any in storage that still fit before I buy one.” So I went home, went into storage. Lets just say ELEVEN jackets later… I decided against buying another. How on earth does someone buy eleven jackets without noticing.

On another topic Zoey’s speaking abilities get better daily and I am always so impressed when she says something new out of the blue. This morning for example she ran into our bedroom and immediately pointed at our Christmas tree and said “Christmas tree!!!” and then she went and grabbed a blue Christmas light in her fingers and said, “BLUE light, its blue light.” I have no idea how she knew it was blue, but she went around the tree finding all the blue lights so it wasn’t a fluke.

Later in the day she was sitting on the potty and I was facing away putting on some lotion when she says, “Hi, my name is Oey!!” I thought I misheard since she has never said that before, so I said, “what??” and for the next few minutes she said/sung, “my name is oey, my name is oey, my name is OEY!” We will have to figure out how to get the Zzzz sound in there but I was amazed she figured out how to say that…

It is weird. I still think of her as my newborn baby, but she gets smarter, taller, more stubborn and more independent every day. How does the time go so fast?
