Right now it is 6:45am. At 5am I woke up to Zoey screaming ‘Mama ouchie, mama ouchie!” So I ran into her room, she was just laying in bed bawling… So sad. I couldn’t find any ‘owies’. Sp she probably just had a bad dream. Either way she was way too sad to go back to sleep so we came downstairs and she has been cuddling in her big comfy chair watching TV and eating berries since then.

I just started writing this and now she is asking me if she can play play-dough (or play-lo as she calls it)… Ahhhh. I am so tired. I am kind of in a stare into space and do nothing mood, not a play play-dough when it is dark outside and feels like the middle of the night since I only got a few hours of sleep mood. Zoey is really persistent though…

Kris is still sleeping. He is technically on break right now, but he has a really hard test on Tuesday. Like really hard, he showed me how much materiel he needs to know and it would probably take me like a month to study lol. While I guess it probably builds on what he has been learning the past few years, but still. Anyways I took Zoey so he could sleep and have energy to study when he gets up.

My sister Amalie is coming to live with us in January – I am SO excited. I really need help with work and babysitting and would rather die than put Zoey in daycare. Kris helps me all the time, but it is unrealistic for him to help as much as I need with how much he has on his plate right now. I know I have said this before, but medical school is INSANE. And the fact that I live a 30 hour drive away from my entire family and have pretty much no friends here is hard too. I just needed family and she was sweet enough to drop everything and come live with us indefinitely starting January. I literally can’t wait. Dear Amalie, pretty soon you will be the one getting up at 4am with Zoey while I sleep. hahaha. Just kidding. I love the sweet cuddles I get when she needs me, but I am really over the moon that my sister is coming.

While those are my random thoughts at 6am. Now I go to ‘play play-lo’. XOXOX

  1. Amalie says she is excited at the prospect of spending time with you guys. Sisters are great. You’ve always been such a good big sister to herl

  2. I love Zoey so much – I can’t wait to spend time with her over Christmas!!
How fun that your sister is moving in with you!!

  3. That is so amazing that Amalie is coming to help you out!!! What a great sister she is. You are lucky to have such a sister 🙂 . I want to see pictures of what play-lo you are able to make at 6:00

    1. I know… What would I do without her. If she couldn’t make it my next request was going to be Analaea or Talia or Ellice 🙂 I ended up distracting her from the Play Dough idea and was able to take a quick nap on the couch… So nice.
