She got herself SO covered in mud!
Passed out on the couch after the lake.
Every single time I get a chance I get our whole family down to the beach to enjoy some water and sunshine. I absolutely love sitting on the sand and soaking in the sun while Zoey splashes in the water. It is still too cold to go swimming in the lake, but the shallow water is warm enough to wade in and Zoey loves it. Sunday was really sunny so we went down to Keystone Lake and were surprised to find TONS of other people had the same idea. Usually this early in the summer we have the whole beach to ourselves. It was a really warm day though.
The most entertaining thing to me was watching Zoeys ‘tricks’. She kept doing pushups and weird yoga like poses and laying on her belly in this part of the lake that was more like a thick mud puddle than water. She loved to lay down flat in the mud and pretend to swim around. Why are kids so entertaining?
I was going to list outfit details, but realized I have no idea where my top is from! I have had since college, I used to wear it as a beach dress in Hawaii and then a maternity shirt when I was pregnant with Zoey. Then it became a beach dress again and now it is being both. Zoey’s swim suit is from OshKosh, they no longer have it in toddler size, the link goes to the same one in girl sizes.
