Highlights of 2016

This year was soooo good. I’ve been meaning to share this for a few days and I finally found some time today to put this post together. It is a collection of all my favorite moments from 2016.

Finding out I was pregnant (being pregnant wasn’t so much fun, but finding out and the beautiful baby I got out of it was AMAZING!!).

Being invited to the callback auditions for The Voice AGAIN! Although I had to MISS them because I was SO sick from being pregnant… It was still such an honor to be personally invited to audition.

Visiting the Kalahari (besides the drive home, I was SOOO sick)

Moving to Erie! We loved some things about Greensburg, like the amazing friends we met there, but we were so ready for a change. Erie has been just amazing for us.

Getting passes to Waldameer Park, this was such a great decision. We went ALL the time this summer!

Our family trip to Niagara Falls!

Going to Hawaii for a month, especially visiting Turtle Bay, Sharks Cove, Waimea, BYU-H (where I got my bachelors) & Halona Blowhole.

Seeing my brother, Reuben, in Toronto (if you ask Zoey her favorite thing about Toronto was the ‘Uncle Ruby and the Aquarium‘).

Becoming a family of four.

My family coming to visit for a few weeks after Zanders birth, I haven’t seen a lot of them in a long time…

I spent the first nine months of this year sick and at least three of those months in bed. Somehow we still managed to make it the best year. We traveled lots (which always makes me happy), met lots of amazing people, moved to a beautiful new place, made so many memories, and most importantly, grew our family.
