I Have a Visitor!

Exciting news!!! I finally convinced a family member to come and visit me in Erie!! It has been almost a year since I have seen any of my siblings or my parents (last time was when Zander was born). A YEAR! That is just not right. Kris’ schedule does not allow much travel. I can barely survive grocery shopping alone, with two kids. So the thought of flying across the country without Kris to help out is a little intimidating. But finally I got family to come to me.

My brother Aaron is in town with his beautiful wife, Rachel. This is just what my heart needed. Isn’t it sad that creating your own life sometimes takes you away from the people who are most important to you? There should be a law against being apart from your family for this long. Also, when is someone going to invent a microwave that instantly transports people to anywhere they want to go??? I’ve been waiting for this type of travel for a long time. Although Kris doesn’t think I should call it a microwave…

My plan for while they are here is to show them all the best parts of Erie so that they never want to leave. Number one of course being the beach. If that plan doesn’t work, my backup is to pretend I lost my car keys so they miss their flight. Shhhhh… Don’t tell them.

On a completely different topic, what do you guys think of my new bathing suit top?! I have had a hard time finding swim shirts that I feel are stylish so I was really excited when I found this one by Beach House. It comes from their line designed for sport and swim. As a busy, active mom, I love swimwear that is designed to fit my toddler chasing lifestyle.

What is your favorite swimsuit from the Beach House active line? When was the last time you saw your parents and siblings?!?
