Yesterday was Zoey’s birthday and she turned two! I can’t believe it… Time has been flying since she was born. I feel like the luckiest parent alive to have gotten such a sweet, beautiful daughter. I am sure I am not the only parent who thinks that though. I am going to post pictures of her birthday party next week but I wanted to share these photos of her enjoying one of her favorite gifts which she got from I See Me right away.
Reading stories has been Zoey’s favorite activity since she was about one. She makes me read her the same books over and over and now that she can talk a little bit she reads a long to books she has memorized, it is so cute! When I found I See Me books I knew they would have the perfect birthday present for my book loving daughter. When you order a book they ask you a few questions about your child and based on that they personalize the book.
Zoey got the book ‘Its Fancy to be Zoey!‘. I was expecting Zoey’s name to be in there once or twice but it was on every single page, they even put a little picture of her in the book in a couple places. Zoey was over the moon when she discovered those and kept pointing at them!
Its Fancy to be Zoey is the story of a fancy little girl who travels the world doing fancy things and wearing expensive clothes, but in the end the most beautiful person she can be is herself. My favorite quote in the book is, “Its fun to dress up and visit countries afar. But it’s what’s inside you that defines who you are.” It was a darling message with the most beautiful illustrations.
Zoey was mesmerized by the pictures and the fact that she was in the story, but my favorite part was that I was able to put a personal dedication in the front to her. It says, “To my Dancing Little Z, never stop dancing princess. Mom.” I love that this is something she will be able to hold on to and cherish forever. A personalized book is definitely my favorite thing from I See Me, but I am curious to know, what do you think your kids would like best? I am debating between getting Zoey a coloring book or a lunch box but I can’t decide which will be more fun for her. Let me know what you would choose in the comments!
