Spring is just beginning to say hello, so I thought it was the perfect time to buy Zoey a new spring wardrobe! She has been getting taller and taller and fits almost none of her pants from winter – plus she really needed some warm weather appropriate pieces. A few months ago a new OshKosh and Carters store opened down the road from me so I decided to start there. I began my shopping at OshKosh and didn’t end up needing to go anywhere else!
Oshkosh really has nailed toddler spring fashion so I thought I would share some of my favorite baby trends from OshKosh with you. My absolute favorite buy was this adorable, one piece, overall tutu. It wasn’t just my favorite though, as soon as we got home from shopping Zoey insisted on wearing it right away and then danced and danced and danced in her new dress. She always dances when she is super happy, she doesn’t even need music on, it makes my heart happy. I especially loved that the tutu dress was a simple one piece outfit. They had a lot of overalls, rompers and dresses at Oshkosh that are perfect for quick and easy, stylish outfits. Definitely a staple of Zoey’s summer wardrobe. I also think it has the perfect Easter vibe for upcoming Easter activities. We are going to bring her to see the Easter Bunny soon since she loved it so much last year and I think this dress will be perfect. She got one more awesome pair of overalls, but I’m saving those for another post very soon.
The next outfit above is for cooler spring days which still appear frequently here in Pennsylvania. In fact just as I thought it was starting to warm up we got a little blanket of snow this morning. This outfit pairs neutral and accent colors, coral and denim, which to me is the perfect combination. I love how the floral patterns on the pants are balanced out by the solid denim-style statement jacket. It is totally the opposite of what you would normally expect and works really well. The statement jacket is light enough for cool spring days when a winter coat is no longer necessary. I wish I had remembered to take it off for a picture though so you could see the shirt she is wearing underneath! It is the most adorable, washed out denim tee with a white embroidered flower design around the neck line. You can check it out here. Last, but definitely not least in this outfit are her darling sandals. I wish they had a pair in my size! I have never seen such a large selection is sandals and shoes at a kids clothing store and I’ll def be heading back there soon to stock up on more spring sandals for my babe.
The last outfit above that I’m going to share is this darling dress. The moment I laid eyes on it I just couldn’t say no. In my life I rarely find the excuse to wear a cute dress, so as soon as I had my baby girl I started taking my love of dressing up in dresses out on her. Her wardrobe is literally 75% dresses… There has got to be at least thirty dresses in her current size hanging up in her closet now, this one is definitely my favorite though. It is so pretty and feminine, yet practical for play too since it’s designed out of a durable, stain resistant material, that is easy to wash. It also goes perfectly with her new sandals and denim statement jacket in the last outfit, and of course, it is perfect for dancing in.
This is not really in the outfit category, but I just HAD to share, Oshkosh also has the most darling selection of bathing suits right now. I grabbed this pink pineapple tankini before heading up to the Kalahari resort a couple weeks ago and it was 40% off!! Now is the perfect time to stock up on swim gear for summer.
Anyways I hope you all enjoyed my little overview of baby girl spring fashion for 2016. For more inspirational ideas for your babe head to your nearest OshKosh store or check them out online. I subscribe to their newsletter and they send me really good deals, discounts and coupons literally every day, so if you are a bargain shopper I’d suggest signing up for that as well! Xoxoxox, rach
Big thanks to OshKosh for sponsoring this post.
