First off HAPPY FOUR MONTHS TO ZANDER!!! He can sit up, roll over, smiles and laughs constantly. He is about 15lbs! More than half Zoey’s size. He is still nursing – Zoey had some solids by this point in her life, but I am too lazy to do that with Zander, plus he loves breastfeeding so I just don’t feel the need. I can’t believe he is already four months….
There is like a foot of snow outside and I am busy looking at pictures of summer. I found these pictures from September that I forgot to share (they got lost somewhere in the mix of giving birth I guess). I packed away all our bathing suits months ago, but I just pulled out all our Swimzips again since we got a HOT TUB! Zoey’s Swimzips are a little warmer than her bikinis in this snowy weather so she’s been wearing them all the time.
SO this is basically what 39 weeks pregnant looks like! I would say I can’t believe I forgot to post these pictures… but they were taken a few days before Zander was born so I am not surprised. This was such a fun day. It was cooler because it was near the end of September, but warm enough in our swim shirts that we could wade in the water and build sandcastles. Zoey danced a whole bunch, and she found a lady bug that she carried around almost the whole time and then was devastated when we had to say goodbye. But she was so brave as she said, “Goodbye, I really love you and miss you.” and then pretended to give it a hug and kiss. She still remembers the lady bug four months later. This was a new spot on the beach we had never been to before (or since). Presque Isle has about a thousand different beaches and they are each so beautiful. It was just a perfect day.
