When I get the itch to redecorate it is hard to ignore, so I found some really budget friendly ways to do a master bedroom makeover. When I saw that I knew it was the beginning of my budget master bedroom makeover.
5 Budget-Friendly Ideas for your Master Bedroom Makeover
Doing a master bedroom makeover doesn’t need to break the bank. Here are some simple budget friendly tips to help you easily and quickly give your master bedroom a new look. You could get done everything on this list in ONE DAY if you really wanted, and be waking up in a new bedroom tomorrow.
1. New Bedding
The quickest way to a master bedroom makeover is to update your bedding! Up until recently we had been doing this every 6-8 months. I could never find something I was totally happy with. Recently we decided to give Beddy’s a try. We hate making the bed, but both like a clean room. We are awful at sharing covers – Kris always thinks I am hogging them and vice versa. I had a hard time choosing between the Rose Upholstered Platform Bed and this beautiful gold metal frame bed. The gold metal frame has such a gorgeous, modern design. 3. Clear out Clutter

It may sound counter intuitive, but clearing out the clutter can make a huge difference in the look and feel of your room. Sometimes more is less. Once we had our new bed frame in place, I realized we no longer had any use for our nightstands. I think our room actually looks better and cleaner without them.
Clear off any surface as well. Dresser tops, vanities, night tables, benches, etc. all tend to be great gathering places for dirty clothes, books, old papers, receipts, etc. Once you clean off these surfaces you will be amazed by the difference it makes to your master bedroom.
4. Add New Artwork and Decor
Artwork and decor is another inexpensive way to update the look of your master bedroom. You can easily find a few dresser top accessories and some new wall hangings and paintings for under $100. Since art and decor can be pretty cheap, don’t be afraid to buy bold and trendy pieces that might go out of style next season.

It is also fun to buy seasonal accessories like a stylish mini Christmas tree for your dresser in the winter, or a small collection of modern pumpkins for your night stand in fall.
